Chapter 2: Family of 4

Maybe it comes from growing up being blue, but I just couldn't wait for Christopher to propose to me. I decided to take the inititive and propose. I was a happy girl when Christopher said yes. We had a private wedding right away as we are so in love.

Benjamin came along not long after we were married, and our little family grew to 3! Now, you might notice, Benjamin definitely takes after his daddy.

We saved, saved, and saved and finally were able to construct a small house. It is not much and I am sure we will out grow it fairly quickly, but it is ours and we love it.

Do you see the 2 baby beds? Yup, Bessie followed fairly quickly after Benjamin. She too takes after her Daddy. Only, she has been blessed to have my blue hair! I think she is the most beautiful little girl. We now have a wonderful family of 4.

It seems like it was just yesterday that Benjamin and Bessie were both babies, and here they are toddlers! Both Christopher and I have our hands full now that we are potty training 2 toddlers as well as teaching them both to talk & walk.

Benjamin is a dear, and as smart as a whip, but I do hope his hair starts coming in soon. I wonder if it will be blue?

Chapter 1: I think my middle name is luck

I really lucked out and found a job right away in the newspaper. It is a good thing too, because after buying a few essentials, like my painting easel, I was pretty broke.

I had a day before I had to start work, so I went exploring. I found the most gorgeous butterflies. They were pretty easy to catch.

The day I was out exploring, I happened across a few seeds. I figured it wouldn't hurt to try planting them, water them a bit, and see if they grew anything. I guess Luck must be my middle name, because I was successful.

I don't think I mentioned that I love to paint. My friends back home told me I am pretty good at it too. Well, the other day I was painting, and this fella who was across the street at the park, must have seen me painting. He came over to have a better look. It turns out he liked more than the painting, if you catch my drift.

We talked into the wee hours of the night and it seems we have so much in common. I really think, okay hopefully I won't shock any of you, but... I think he may be the one I have been waiting all my life for. His name is Christopher.

Introduction

Hi there, my name is Bethany Blue.

Now I suppose you are wondering what brought me to Sunset Valley. You see, I am blue. It doesn't bother me, but it sure bothered my parents. I was an embarrassment to them, and now that I am 18, I choose not to live that way anymore. To protect my parents, who are well known politically, I have changed my last name to Blue. It seemed rather fitting wouldn't you say?

Now the first order of business is to get a job, hopefully make some friends, and see if I can't do something with this gorgeous lot overlying the ocean.
